S&P 500 hits new high as Shanghai Composite hits new low

Shanghai Composite hits a new post-crisis low on Monday before bouncing back a bit.
Meanwhile, S&P 500 just hits a new post-crisis high before reversing earlier gains.
The chart below shows the two markets, with the financial crisis low rebased to 100.
Of course, Shanghai stock market bottomed out much earlier after the financial crisis hit, but its performance beyond that has been pathetic, to say the least.
While S&P 500 is currently in heaven, Shanghai Composite is now on ground level.
