US consumer price index was flat in April (with some other charts)

Posted by ZarathustraThe US consumer price index was unchanged in April on a seasonally adjusted basis, while core inflation (all item excluding food and energy) is up 0.2% on the month. On a year-on-year basis unadjusted basis, all-item inflation and core inflation were both up 2.3%. The chart below shows inflation on an year-on-year unadjusted basis.
