Fed’s balance sheet is still not yet expanding
4 November, 2012, 15:50. Posted by ZarathustraIt has been more than a month since QE-Infinity started. And after seeing Fed’s balance sheet finally expands in size some three weeks ago, Fed’s balance sheet shrinks to two consecutive weeks according to latest data.
The size of Fed’s balance sheet at the end of October is more or less back to the level before QE-Infinity was announced according to data published by the Federal Reserve on 1 November.
