Euro area manufacturing PMI fell to 45.4 in October

Euro area manufacturing PMIs points to continued contraction in eurozone manufacturing sector.
The overall eurozone manufacturing PMI increased from 46.1 to 45.4, slightly better than flash estimate of 45.3.
France manufacturing PMI increased from 42.7 to 43.7, slightly higher than the flash estimate of 43.5, meanwhile Germany’s manufacturing PMI fell from 47.4 to 46.0, but better than the flash estimate of 45.7.
Italy’s PMI fell from 45.7 to 45.5, a 15-month low, while Spain’s PMI fell from 44.5 to 43.5.
