China’s retail sales increased by 14.5% yoy in October

Retail sales growth picked up from 14.2% yoy in September in nominal term to 14.5% yoy, better than market estimate of 14.4% yoy.

In real term, retail sales was up 13.5% yoy, up from 13.2% yoy in September.

On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, however, retail sales increased 1.34% in October, down from the revised figure of 1.65% in September (revised from 1.46%).
