China’s industrial production increased by 9.2% yoy in September 2012

China’s industrial production increased by 9.2% yoy in real term in September, up from 8.9% yoy, and better than market estimate of 9.0% yoy.
On a month-on-month and seasonally adjusted basis, industrial production increased by 0.79%, up from the revised 0.71% growth in August.
Of particular interest, electricity output increased by 1.5% yoy only, lower than our calculation based on previously available data.
