China’s fixed asset investment growth picked up in September
18 October, 2012, 10:45. Posted by ZarathustraChina’s fixed asset investment for January-September increased by 20.5% in nominal term, up from 20.2% yoy for January-August, better than market expectation, which was looking for flat growth. In real term, growth was 18.8%.
On a month-on-month and seasonally adjusted basis, growth picked up from the revised number of 1.34% in August to 1.63%.
Since the reported figures were for year-to-date and year-on-year basis, we compute the year-on-year growth figure for September alone, and growth picked up from 19.4% yoy to 23.1% yoy.
