Chart: Greece’s slow motion bank run, a.k.a. bank jog

The chart below shows that the outstanding deposits in Greek banks have been going through a long march to the south.

Curiously, there was an uptick for March 2012. However, it could probably be premature to think that it’s ending, because there are signs that the slow-motion bank run, or bank jog, is continuing.
